Can someone tell me about the Waco compound?
Here it is in a nutshell. A man named David Koresh was the leader of a group called the Branch Davidians. They were a strange “cult” and they stockpiled weapons in their compound. Most of the guns seemed to have been legal but the FBI and ATF thought he needed to be taken down. They went to serve him with a search warrant and instead of serving him when he was outside, the went to the compound and the people barricaded themselves inside. A standoff ensued that Koresh promised to come out after he finished translating the 7 seals (or something along those lines). On April 19 1993, US government tanks knocked holes in the building. It is believed and footage shows that one of the tanks put an incendiary device in one of the holes and the place caught fire. CS gas was also introduce apparently by the government. The FBI and AFT would not allow fire trucks through as some of the agents were killed by the Branch Davidians when they tried to storm the place. The cause of death of most of the
