My all, my strength, she gave me life Only one who was with me in trouble and strife Tirelessly helping me on my way Her hands as gentle as the breeze of a new day Everlasting love for me she holds Rarer, her love, even rarer than gold. Mum I love you, you are so sweet Oh you didn’t mind washing my stinky feet The boxes of pizza left under the bed Hurriedly cleared away by you, looked like they had legs! Even though it looked like you cared for me out of habit Really, Mum, I know, you did it because you loved it.
