Can someone please tell me the summary of the Tell-Tale Heart story?
I’ll tell you, but I want you to read it too, because it’ll make more sense if you read it AFTER i tell you the summary. Basically this guy is mental, and he goes crazy because his landlord has this weird blue eye that’s large and scary looking so he snuck into his landlord’s room every night for a week(i think) and he stayed at the door for an hour, and fixed his lamp on the closed eye. Then one night he decides to kill the old man and he stuffs him under the floor boards. The police come knocking because the neighbors reported a disturbance and the crazy man acts polite to the police but he hears a heartbeat, a sort of ticking noise, and he confesses to the police. What’s eerie about this story is that the crazy man probably didn’t even hear the heartbeat.I personally think it was his guilty conscience.
