Sometimes, if you ignore the warning message, you can print all the text – but you need to check this in print preview before you print. Obviously, from your question your text is being truncated – it is not all printing. You do NOT have to use the default printer settings in page set up. However, be aware that most printers cannot print all the way to the edge of the paper due to physical limitations in the printer and the way it handles the paper; some ‘photo’ printers CAN print to the edge. Therefore, if you set your document margins closer to the edge of the paper than your printer is capable of printing, Microsoft Word will give you a warning message for each copy you send to the printer. As a guide – most laser printers cannot print closer to any edge of the paper than 0.65 cm. Some laser printers require 1.25 cm margins. Inkjet printers generally cannot printer closer than approx 1.7 cm. Other printers have their own internal printer driver setting for margins so as you can see
