A good option would be to look at courses that include a Service Learning component. Many colleges are now including volunteerism in their courses. The student gets experience in their craft and the nonprofit gets a service so it is a win/win collaboration. Also, the Greek system usually has community service projects and activities with their adopted organizations. It would be possible for you to piggy back on one of their Sat. days of service. Contact your student activities office and most likely they have already planned a campus wide service day.
