Can someone please give me a simple breakdown of the carbon cycle for my GCSE Biology revision?

Well I did some revision notes for GCSE physics a little while ago so hopefully part of this will be useful. In the sources I’ve put a link to a JPEG of the carbon cycle I drew, I apologise for the poor handwriting as I was on my 6th page of notes or so and ended up with cramp 😛 Anywho, I hope it is of some use. If it’s words you’re looking for then it goes something like this: Carbon dioxide is taken out of the air through photosynthesis. It is put into the air through plants respiring (at night), respiration of the bacteria during decomposition of dead plants, animals and animal droppings.
