Can someone please explain the season finale of Fringe please?
Well it’s important that you watch the entire season but in a nutshell (from what I remember of it): Olivia finds out that she was one of a number of kids in the Jacksonville, Florida area that had been tested on with experimental drugs. One drug in particular seemed to be the link that she’s had to so many of the cases. She finds out that William Bell was behind the testing and asked the lady at Massive Dynamic where she could find him. She responded by telling Olivia that he was in an alternate reality; that he had opened a doorway into an alternate zone, and was living there. That’s why at the end of the episode, she looks out the window and you realize that she’s standing in one of the World Trade Center towers…9/11 hadn’t happened in the alternate reality!
