Can someone insert the correct punctuation in to this sentence?
I believe this to be true because someone born at the start of the academic year in early September will hold nearly a year’s age difference to someone born in late August. You don’t need any commas unless you wish to particularly pause for emphasis. I say that whole sentence in one stride. You would only need commas if you were to change the wording to: ‘[…]because someone born at the start of the academic year, which is in September, will hold nearly[…]’ See how it’s an abrupt change in how you are speaking? It’s like an extension to the main clause. If you delete what is inside the commas, the main clause should still make sense.
