Can someone help me with the downloading of AVG Antivirus Free edition, please?
Right-click on the little AVG Icon in your system tray (right-bottom corner of your screen where your clock is) and select, Launch AVG Control Center. Now click on Update Manager and click on the Settings button. If you are connecting to the Internet through a proxy server enter the details here. Click on Help if you are not sure what to enter here. If you have a dial-up connection click on the dial-up tab and tick Use dial-up connections. If you are not sure how these settings work, ask the person who configured your Internet connection to check these settings for you. Click Apply after making any changes and then OK. Now you are back at the Control Center screen. Click on the Properties button and make sure there is no tick-mark next to the option “Do not ask for the update source”. Once again click Apply and then OK. Now click on the Update button. A screen will appear asking you for the source of the update, choose Internet.
