Can someone help me with some Veterinary Practice questions I have?
vets surgeries have a contract waste disposal service and are supplied with special containers by the contractor all animal waste is incinerated (by law) sharpies are also incinerated to destruction,the vets practice is responsible for safe disposal ie: if the contractor does not dispose of the waste in an appropriate manner the vet is responsible and can be fined up to corporate liability,(no top limit) and loose his licence.
