Can someone help me to install a doggy door into a solid glass pane door?
Like Basset said, they make d-doors that can be used with sliding glass doors. We have french doors on the back so this wasn’t an option for us. We installed our d-door in the wall next to the door. We bought a “regular” d-door and cut the correct sized hole in the wall. It took a little creativity to “finish” the framing for the d-door because the wall is thicker than the installation kit that came with the d-door so we had to get creative with some sheet metal. It all worked out in the end, and the funny thing is, that even if the people door is open, the dogs only use their door.
