Can someone give me step by step advice on how to accomplish my goals in life ?
Ok, as you are aware, none of this is going to be easy but you’ve already taken the first step by compartmentalising each goal so that you can work to each goal in turn. To get a job with computers you’ll need a qualification. While there are many out there to choose from a lot of these are expensive and therefore the cost might be prohibitive for you. An alternative may be to visit the Job Center and discuss re-training with them. I don’t know for certain but I’m sure they will have some computing course or other they could offer to you. This will help you to get a foot in the door for interviews but you’ll have to interview very well in order to secure a job. Computing jobs are very popular because they are still seen to pay huge salaries so the competition is fierce. In reality the average salaries you see adverised on television for computing jobs are much higher than the starting wage offered. First and foremost, I applaud your honesty and efforts in wanting to “take steps” in changing your life! You’ve actually taken the first step…You’ve acknowledged that you need to change. It’s very difficult to contain change in a chronological format, since everyone is different and each person makes desired changes differently. For example I believe that acknowledgment as you’ve shown above would be the first step, then forgiveness, for your past errors and forgiving others if they’d wrong you would be the next.
