Can someone give me a short biography of Walt Disney?
Is this short enough for you? On December 5 of 1901, Elias and Flora Disney gave birth to Walt. Shortly after, he and his family of seven moved to Marceline, Missouri where he spent most of his childhood. With encouragement from his mother, Walt Disney learned to love nature, wildlife, family, and community. This lead to his enrollment in the military. However his request was denied because he was only sixteen years old. During Disney’s young life, he pursued a career in commercial art. After his Laugh-O-Grams company fell bankrupt, Walt turned to Hollywood with only twenty dollars in his pocket. Walt quickly became a Hollywood figure after the success of his “Alice Comedies”, and married his employee Lillian Bounds. She bore him two daughters by the name of Diane and Sharon. Disney’s career was quickly on the roll and produced Flowers and Trees, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and Bambi as his first films.
