Can someone get a list of the countries that have ratified the idea of agenda 21?
You’re using the wrong term. 178 nations voted for the measure; but it’s not a binding treaty which requires signatory members to do anything. treaties are binding, and THEY must be ratified. But Agenda 21 is just a glorified UN Resolution that argues for a sustainable growth agenda. The 178 nation (virtually every nation on earth) voted that this was a good idea; but to date, no countries have actually tried to implement it, as it’s too costly, and it hampers the kind of growth that developing countries want for their own nations. All told, Agenda 21 is more about “The politics of feeling good” than substantive policy.
