Can someone get a job after doing health and social care GCSE level?

You will need to have an NVQ lvl2 to work in health and social care, luckily though, many employers would love to have you as you are studying to achieve this. One day at college and the rest at work, you may not get paid well especially if you’re under 18. You will also need to have a CRB check to ensure you are fit to work with vunerable people. First though, you have to find the area in which you want to work, children/youth/elderly/special needs.

Your better off doind the NVQ Health and Social Care qualifications – as they are more hands on and very easily nationally recognised. You can get a job with the GCSE, but they will allow/encourage you to do the NVQs. The Care Workers I worked with were doing NVQs at various Levels according to the experience they already had.
