Can someone explain to me how to download music on my mp3 player?

I used to drag the songs in to the mp3. You connect your mp3 into your USB port and then open “My Computer” icon. You will see you mp3 drive or icon and you have to open it. Then it will open a window where you have to put the songs that you want, leave that window open, now you have to open a new window where you have your songs, music, etc. then you have to click and drag them to the other window, but you have to minimize one of them so you can see both windows open and transfer. That is how I did it, since mine didn’t have a software or anything like that like the Ipod and itunes.
