Alcohol provides a general feeling of well being and mild euphoria. The way it alters your mood and perception it can give you the impression that whatever you are doing is more situational appropriate. This makes you more prone to take risk that you normally wouldn’t when not intoxicated simply because you feel more comfortable with your situation than you normally do.
