If you have one of Sony’s HiMD players, you can transfer stuff to your computer that you have recorded through an analogue input. If you have any other player, you will need to connect its headphone jack to the line-in jack on your computer (usually blue), by means of a male-to-male 1’8 inch (3.5 mm) plug cable. On the computer, you can use Audacity to record from your player. Note that if you go this way, everything is recorded in real time, meaning e.g. a 3 minute song will need 3 minutes to record.
