Can someone explain abrasion, attrition, corrosion and hydraulic action?
Hydraulic Action – Like a hose being sprayed on a rock, the power chips away bits of the rock. Corrosion – Chemicals eroding away the rock Abrasion – Friction rubbing away the rocks, like little pebbles rubbing against the surface of a rock chipping bits off. Attrition – As the rocks and pebbles are being swept along they bang against each other and they split up or little bits get knocked off, making them smaller and smaller.
