Can somebody tell me what a Certified Nursing Assistant does?
CNA’s don’t make much – it is not a glorious career. You should pursue nursing and not nursing ASSISTANTS. If you want to be an RN, don’t waste your time with CNA unless you want to do it for experience and to get your feet wet while in nursing school. By the way, make sure you take Chemistry, Algebra, Biology, Statistics, and Geometry in high school. That way, you don’t have to take the high school level courses in college and waste your time. Here are the job responsibilities for CNA’s: Answer patients’ call signals. Turn and reposition bedridden patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores. Observe patients’ conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to professional staff. Feed patients who are unable to feed themselves. Provide patients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed. Provide patient care by supplying and emptying bed pans, applying dressings and supervising exercise routines. Bat
