John Foster John Foster is the country’s most prolific poetry anthologist, having compiled over 100 anthologies of children’s poetry. His first collection A First Poetry Book was published in 1979 and since then he has edited many favourites including Twinkle Twinkle Chocolate Bar, the Poetry Paintbox series, Schools Out, Crack Another Yolk, Word Whirls and Whizz Bang Orang Utan. His most recent anthologies include Football Fever, a new book of football poems and My First Oxford Book of Poetry.
