Hiya! The question was slightly confusing. Are you actually going to propose to her or just declare your love? ?! Anyhoo, to just gradually approach her and get to know her better verbal communication might go down better than a poem. If you just randomly have never talked to her and all of a sudden are writing her love poetry, she might think you are slightly stalkerish! My advice: talk to her and get to know her before you ask her out. Go somewhere where you can talk but don’t introduce poetry until you are at a stage where she is happy to call you her boyfriend in public. Anything before then and you will scare her off! As for good love poems, the Songs of Solomon is great as it is not too full on. It’s in the Bible but you’ll be able to find a copy on the internet. I reallllly wish you luck and I hope it all goes well!
