Can somebody give me some exsaples on Modern Day Prophets?
There are no modern day prophets. They should be called modern day philosophers. Prophets foretell the future and it has already been done and all they do is tell you what they think is going to happen by interpreting what they think the verse or book of the Bible represents. Anyone can do this, but to do it accurately entails avid study and reading comprehension at the least. If there were modern day prophets, then it would entail that God had them blessed with NEW knowledge to pass along to the rest of HIS people, but he doesn’t communicate with us directly anymore and that was the reason for the Bible in the first place…..and this isn’t going to go over well with those “puffed up with pride” regarding their status as alleged “prophet”. Ego, self importance, self-righteous, biased individuals who can only iterate what is, and not what they think will be. We don’t need any prophets, we need truth. And it was already laid out and ignored and divided amongst many.
