Can some one throw some light on the mystery of the Bermuda triangle?
The truly interesting thing about the Bermuda triangle is the fact that insurance companies don’t charge shipping companies any extra premium for shipping through there. You would think that a company that makes it’s living from calculating the likely hood of a loss would be able to tell if ships were more likely to go missing in the Bermuda triangle as opposed to anywhere else in the world. One trait that the burmuda triangle does have is an extremely strong current ( the Gulf stream) which would make it more difficult to find wreckage. Here is a quote from Lloyds of London one of the top international insurers. According to Lloyd’s Records, Quote: 428 vessels have been reported missing throughout the world since 1955, they confirm that there is no evidence to support the claim that the Bermuda Triangle has more losses than elsewhere, or a similar size and geography.
