Can Social Services Legally harrass my family?
Unfortunately SS calling your husband at work trying to get him to comply with an interview or meeting isn’t harassment. The fact that there are discrepancies in interviews with your son leads to one of two things either there is a case still or your son is lied depending on what he has stated in them. In CO like in CA and other states once SS gets involved it is many times a long drawn out process to get them out of your life. The sad part is that once they are involved your lives will never be the same again. Especially if there were any allegations of any kind of sexual or physical abuse made. I would say to stay on top of your lawyer to get his help in this or look at retaining a different lawyer. Does your husband have some reason why he doesn’t wish to respond to SS?
