Can smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol affect genital warts?
smoking maryjane has nothing to do with genital warts, I have been to many doctors who have told me to stop smoking as I have genital warts because there is something (Controversial because unproven) in the tobacco that the virus likes and lives in. Hpv does not get better when one has a weakened immune system however weed does not lower your immune system the way alcohol can. ALCOHOL IS probably how we all got warts in the first place 2/25/2008 ! My doctor told me that drinking alochol would not affect genital warts. Since they say smoking is not at all good to do if you have HPV then I would think smoking marijuana would be as harmful. Smoking lowers your immune system so that is when genital warts could appear if you are sick, stressed, smoking, etc, while having HPV. By: ilf303 9/22/2002 !
