Can sleeping just after having lunch cause a health problem in toddlers?

I have never heard of having a nap after lunch causing health problems in toddlers.

No my four children always had a nap after lunch and it has done them no harm at all. I think it’s good for a small child to take a nap after lunch, they need to recharge their batteries too and they seem to get a lot less cranky afterwards and it also gives whoever’s caring for them the chance of a little time to themselves too. I think it gives the child some sort of routine during the day too and if a child needs a nap then they should be able to take one. After all toddlers are very busy little people aren’t they! Mine certainly used to wear me out!
