Can sleeping in contact lenses cause EXTREME sensitivity to light issues?

0

I slept in my contact lenses, and usually for 1-2 days after, I have an EXTREME sensitivity to light to where I can’t keep my eyes open while driving, sitting at work, basically anything. My eyes produce a huge amount of tears or watery discharge as well. The eyes are usually not red, but somtimes are, mainly the left one. It’s slightly painful, and I feel a lot of pressure in my head.
