Can SkimStone be applied to walls?
While formulated specifically for concrete, SkimStone will work on painted or unpainted walls. A finished look similar to Venetian Plaster can be achieved without all the burnishing. However, don’t forget that you’re working with a cement based product. When applying SkimStone to a vertical surface it can be quite messy – and special care must be taken to protect your eyes from accidental contact with the material. Additionally, the use of metal lath or fiberglass cloth may be required to stabilize SkimStone when applied to vertical or curved surfaces. It should also be noted that SkimStone is a decorative finishing system and is not intended for use as a structural element.
