Can Six Sigma be implemented bottom-up?
No. This is a dream of employees who are desperate to see things improve within their organisation. Sadly, some managers who do not share their enthusiasm or who fear the challenges of organisational change also see it as an escape route. To succeed, Six Sigma requires leadership, finance and other resources that can only come from above. It must come from top management.
