The Silverlon® Wound Contact Dressing can be placed on wounds caused by chemical burns from cement and concrete. The Silverlon® is moistened with sterile water or saline and placed in direct contact with the chemically burned tissue. Daily dressing changes are recommended for the first four to five days.
