Can Siku the Small Polar Bear Cub Keep Up?
Of Aakaga’s two cubs, her little boy is smaller than his sister. Siku has a bright spirit he’s more curious and alert than his sister. But the miles are beginning to wear on his slight frame. When the polar bear family first set out from the den, it was Siku who plopped his furry little butt into the snow and whuffed his desire to play. No more walking! But his mother and sister kept moving ahead, pushing the pace. Siku had no choice he took off running again, calling after them with yips and growls to “wait up!” Qannik, the larger sister, puts her head down and plods forward.
