Can/should XBRL GL be used to represent transactions?

0

XBRL GL is not a transactional standard, and it does not aim at replacing existing purpose-specific transactional standards. However, it is capable to represent all those standards, and it can represent transactions and all the related events that are triggered in different moments of their lifecycle as they flow from their first generation to their final representation in some kind of end report.
