Response: All advance benefits issued through September will be for old food packages. Therefore, if a mom is issued benefits anytime in September, she will receive the old food package for October, November, and December. On October 1 or anytime after, mom may come back and request to void her old food package benefits and reissue new food package benefits, which can be done at the discretion of each local agency.
