Can short layers be cut into any type of hair ?
Well, if your hair is curly and cut with extreme layers, it will actually look nice because it will show off your curls more (which I don’t think will look “emo”). I don’t know if you’re wanting to keep your length, but let them know whether you do or not. If not, show them with your hands exactly how much you want cut off, then let them know exactly how much layering you want done. Show them with your hands again where you want the layers to start. Choppy means just that, it looks like someone chopped the layers instead of allowing them to blend into your hair.
