Can she claim income support or another benefit?

i think when your pregnant you swap over to income support when your 6 months pregnant then when the babys born you get income support child benefit and child tax credits

her b/f wont be able to claim jobseekers, and i guess she will be moved over to income support once the pregnancy is far enough along that she wont be able to work but for current regulations they should ask the jobcentre. when the baby is born they will get tax credits and child benefit, also be entitled to housing benefit and council tax benefit if they dont get it already, and she may be entitled to some maternity payment but she should ask her jobcentre advisor when she is confirmed as pregnant. hopefully her b/f will be able to find something soon so he can support them.
