Can SeeNet use SSL Certificate for secure communication?
Procedure to enable SSL (https) ASSUMPTION: • You have received or created a SSL certificate for the SeeNet server and have it available. • You have the Certificate Authority (CA) Root (or the Chain) certificate available. PROCEDURE: Use the following procedure to enable SSL (https) on the SeeNet server. • On your SeeNet server, unzipped the attached zipped file in C:\SoftConcept\ folder. NOTE: C:\SoftConcept folder is where you loaded the SeeNet software. Could be in other drive on your system. • Navigate to \SoftConcept\apache\tomcat5\conf and copy the server.xml file to the C:\SoftConcept\SSL folder (making a backup of the file for recovery purposes).
