Can secure handles onto plywood panel doors?
You may need to change your handles to some that either bolt through the door with screws that connect to each other ( rather like a nut and bolt and a pain to fit) or some door handle sets come with a grub screw that tightens under the handle so that it grips the square spindle easy to fit so try these, then the plates which screw to the door are mainly for show so could be stuck with double sided tape.
