Can School of Graduate Studies (SGS) students request materials on ILL?
Yes, online students can submit requests electronically using one of the online ILL forms for articles or books (note: you will need your Institutional ID/A number) when the material is not available online. Keep in mind that it could take up to a week to 10 days to fill an ILL request. SGS students are strongly encouraged to use our many electronic resources for accessing e-books and full-text journal articles as this is the most time efficient way to access materials. Generally, articles will be delivered electronically as pdf attachments to your email account. Articles do not need to be returned. If a book is available in our collection or can be purchased for our collection, we will send the book to online students for a 90-day loan with a return mailing label. Our library does not borrow material from other libraries for online students, since the loan period from the lending library does not allow sufficient time for shipping to the online students location.
