Can salbutamol sulphate worsen asthma?
You need to see an asthma specialist and get on something like the GOLD standard. You should be given a pulmonary function test to indicate your stage of asthma (mild, moderate, severe, etc). You need to be given, and follow, a regimen. From the sounds of it you need your short-acting (albuterol here in the states, salbutamol up north…its the same thing) for sudden attacks, a long acting beta2 agonist, and a steriod. You should also have a spacer to use with your inhalers and be shown proper technique…I even just watched a video on youtube that a doctor narrates and found a lot of inaccuracies….1 in 3 patients use their inhaler improperly.
