Yes, SafetyMate can be updated to the latest practices. All of SafetyMate’s content is contained on an internal SD FLASH Memory card, similar to those used in digital cameras and MP3 players. The SD card can be found behind a sliding door in the battery compartment. To access the SD FLASH Memory card, remove the battery compartment door, take out the batteries and slide the gray door upwards. Check HERE (add link) on the SafetyMate website for any announcement of content updates and how to download them. You can either download updates directly from this website to a computer and then transfer these to the SD Flash Memory card or you can contact SafetyMate to purchase a new SD Flash Memory card with the updates installed.
