Can Safari open Internet Explorer?

I access several old web apps that were developed in .net (I think) and are thus only compatible with IE. I like to use Safari on my work PC but these several apps don’t work using Safari (90% of my browsing is non IE so I don’t want to use IE for everything just because of a few key apps). Rather than opening up two browsers I was wondering if anyone knew a way to select a link or bookmark within Safari but have IE open that particular link instead or some other solution.
