Recently I came across very interesting problem at my customer end. In one hydraulic component application there is piston which has rubber seal. During running operation this seal is rubbing against piston. After certain time period there is groove formation on piston. Area of piston around the seal is wearing out where as rubber is intact. Can any body focus light on the cause.
