Yes, but it won’t be easy. It all depends upon whether Hatton can cut off the ring and force Mayweather into a toe-to-toe. At that point the match is his. But Mayweather will try to keep tagging and running, piling up points on the scorecards while staying out of danger. I don’t think Hatton has any chance of winning on points, only by KO. Going way out on a limb, I say: Hatton – TKO – 9th.

The style that gave Floyd the most trouble was that of Jose Luis Castillo in 2 fights, one of which Floyd clearly lost but got the gift decision. No hatton is a overrated club fight just look at the way he throws punches off balance and wide i understand that brits love thier guy ,But he is so limited as a boxer and his tactic onlywork on certain boxer, why did’nt they work on Urango or Collazo both recent bouts and both fighter are b level fighters
I been trying to get caught up on the latest “soap opera” ie the pure disdain Vette has for Floyd. I got winded just trying, man what a scandal. However, thru all the bitterness and hostility I laughed my rear end off when I read that line about Ricky Hatton posing for a photo, I LMMFBAO. I can see this guy has a “dark side” to his nature. (cue Obi Wan and Yoda with light sabres drawn) LOL, he is tired from his face stopping all of Floyd’s punches, bro that is absolutely manically insane. PBF quited many of those that protest against his “hit without being hit” style. I can only assume these individuals are not well versed in what a “boxer” encompasses in contrast to what a “brawler”, “slugger” or “puncher” is. So be it. However, for all the whining and crying they do/did, Floyd make them choke on their hostility as he beat Hatton at his own game. In doing so, he showed he was even better at “close quarters” fighting then Hatton. The way PBF took apart Hatton could be measured by the progressive decrease of fan chants and Hatton themed singing. Hatton, in the end, was able to go to that Wonderland his fans sing about. His ticket to Wonderland was punched by a guy named Floyd.
