Can restraints be used to force CPAP use in Hospital?

0

Not sure if this is the place to ask but I’ll try. I’m fairly new to CPAP use and not adjusting well. I’m trying but just can’t take it alot especially when I’m not in a good mood. I have to go in the hospital for unrelated surgery. I know they will be trying to get me to use the CPAP. I’m going tobe in pain from surgery and pretty miserable and am sure I’m not going to be in the modd for CPAP. If I refuse to use it or keep pulling the mask off, can they use restraints on me? Thanks.
