No it can not remove viruses because usually viruses just get right in there and can only be eliminated with a good virus or spyware tool. If they don’t work you will have to format your computer. Restoring to factory SETTINGS.. See, it will only restore your settings, not the viruses or anything. Norton is a crappy program, download AVG Free (virus tool) or Ad-Aware (spyware tool.) If they don’t work, well then you most likely will have to format your computer. I got a virus called rlvknlg.exe (Relevant Knowledge) and it starts itself up when windows logs in. I had to format my PC to remove everything… Even now my system is not the same because Drive zero became Drive One. Anyways, best of luck, hope that virus is annihilated.
