Can removal vans and builders vehicles park within limited waiting bays or pay and display bays?
In general, any driver parking in a pay and display bay or limited waiting bay must adhere to the regulations displayed on the signs, i.e display a relevant parking ticket or permit, or restrict their length of stay. Exemptions can, however, be made to allow removal vans or builder’s vehicles to be parked adjacent to individual properties. This is done by the issuing of a waiver, which suspends the restriction. The waiver must be displayed within the vehicle to ensure that parking attendants do not issue a parking ticket on the vehicle.
