Can referees submit a letter of reference instead of completing an Assessment of an Applicant Form?
Although the University of Guelph prefers the form to be completed and signed by the referee to ensure all information is provided, we will accept a signed letter of reference on appropriate letterhead. In most cases, applicants arrange for their referees to submit both the Assessment of an Applicant Form and an attached letter.
