Can red cherry shrimps live with kuhli loaches, corydoras catfish, or glass catfish?
Kuhli loaches are scavengers and like to eat things on the bottom of the tank. Shrimp are small, edible, and live on the bottom of the tank. Mixing these two animals results in the shrimp being eaten. Corydoras are omnivores and live on the bottom of the tank. Fish that stay on the bottom of the tank have more interactions with the shrimp in the tank than the fish who stay on the surface. I’m willing to bet that there would be some shrimp snacking if you mixed these two animals. Glass catfish are larger fish, growing to be four to five inches. Red Cherry shrimps grow to be up to three centimeters. Thus the smaller shrimp are of a perfect size to be eaten by the catfish. The glass catfish generally spends its time in the upper to mid levels of the water, away from the bottom, so this is the lowest risk fish to mix with the red cherry shrimp of the fish that you have listed so far.
