Can reading the bible help mend a broken heart?
Precious one – There are many days when the love I find in God’s word is the only thing I have to help me make it through the difficult times. Jesus was sent to bring love and healing back to the broken hearted. Reading about his love in the Book of John – or (my favorite) the Psalms has brought me great healing in my life. I have found guidance, clarity, love, forgiveness, peace, and joy in the Scriptures. …They are as alive today as they were the day they were written. I pray that you find what you seek dear one.
